I was more than just happy to provide affordable, professional NJ wedding photographer service to Laura and Benjamin. I was thrilled. Why? As surreal as it was for me, photographing Laura’s wedding was a special occasion for me as well. When Laura was born, I was in my college undergraduate studies taking Music Theory classes taught by her father. He instilled in me a love for music theory (music engineering, basically) that I carry to this day. I even went back in my late 40’s/early 50’s and got a Master’s degree in it. Not only that, Laura is a very talented soprano and sings with the Dickensian style professional Christmas caroling group I direct, The Village Carolers.

It was wonderful to see her father again (I hadn’t seen him since I was in my early 20’s!), and it was also so wonderful to be there for a ceremony attended by so many talented musicians. Outside of my own wedding, it was one of the most musical wedding ceremonies I have seen in all of these hundreds of weddings I have photographed or officiated.

We started off getting ready at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ before heading to the church for the ceremony, then it was back to the inn for a fantastic cocktail hour and reception celebration. I am so very happy for Laura and Benjamin, and I am honored they chose me as their wedding photographer!
