I was honored to be the wedding officiant for Madison and Sean’s gorgeous outdoor early fall wedding ceremony at the incomparable Stockton Seaview in Galloway, NJ. Nestled nicely along the Jersey Shore, the Stockton Seaview’s facilities are gorgeous, the food is amazing (I can also recommend from personal experience their New Year’s Eve dining offerings), and the outdoor altar area is perfect for a garden wedding ceremony. The weather was fantastic, if a touch on the warm side (it was that last gasp week of summer before autumn starts peeking its head in) and it made for a perfect sunny, but not too hot, Jersey Shore wedding.

Sometimes I get pleasant surprises at weddings that make them even more joyful. I had no idea that Sean was going to walk down the aisle to Michael Bublé’s Feeling Good and I couldn’t stop smiling. Then, when Madison appeared, time seemed to stop for everyone. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I really enjoyed meeting with them and getting to know them in order to craft a truly personal ceremony text. Telling their completely awesome love story about how they met, sharing the beauty of their paths intertwining and becoming one, and ushering them through the threshold of their now-joined path was an honor and more than just a pleasure. I love what I get to do for my couples!

Alexa asked all the right questions to ensure she knew everything she needed to know about the ceremony, and I could tell throughout that she was always in the right place at the right time. Her images are beautifully composed and express the brightness of a couple’s love story with both technical expertise and sincere care in telling her couples’ stories.
