I was thrilled to have a new experience, at nearly my five hundredth wedding: I wasn’t the tallest person at the altar! John played basketball in college, and his entire family is tall. I actually felt normal for once. It was quite refreshing, to say the least. John’s bride Rasa looked gorgeous, and several members of her family traveled from Europe to attend the ceremony, held at the beautiful Philadelphia Country Club’s Shooting Cabin.

We were a little worried that the rains would force the ceremony inside, but at the very last minute, the rain stopped just long enough for Rasa and John to tie the knot. It was a little surreal for me to sometimes have to look up from my binder, rather than down, but the ceremony went beautifully and I am thrilled to say that Rasa and John are now married!
