It was my honor and joy to be the affordable lifestyle NJ wedding photographer for Rosa and Jacob’s wedding in early September. The wedding took place at Ohel Yaacob Congregation in Deal, NJ near Asbury Park. Rosa got ready at her parents’ house nearby, and soon it was time to head to Ohel Yaacob for some pre-ceremony family portraits. This was followed by their ketubah signing and bedecken ceremony (both important parts of the Jewish wedding tradition), which was then followed by the wedding ceremony itself. They had a truly beautiful chuppah to get married under, and a ceremony complete with lots of fun arrangements of popular songs sung in Hebrew.

The cocktail hour was beautifully designed, and Rosa and Jacob had a fun first dance complete with a Hora. The celebration was lively and energetic the whole way through, and keeping up with this bunch of good people celebrating was pretty tiring! Eventually we cut the cake, took a few last group shots, and it was time to head home.
